Thread regarding Sears layoffs

just wondering

It would be nice to get communication from our DM or RVP. It's just silent and Pebble is depressing. Just a bunch or good lucks and farewells.

It really does not matter who wins the bid at this point.

If a liquidating company wins, game over, Sears is done.

If Eddie wins, it will be game over for Sears as well...might drag out a little longer before it happens.... but it will, as he has proven already that he does not have a clue on how to successfully run a retail company.

The windbag still has not provided anything of substance aside from repeating old news that is already out there.

Still waiting on the big news that was to be announced on Saturday according to windbag regarding Eddie's bid being accepted.....

The “windbag” has been right every time so far. Told you Eddie put ina bid and he was right!!

Told u who was backstopping it, and he was right!

In fact he’s the only one who’s been right all year (“sears wont be able to make payroll” said in Jan, feb, mar, April, May, June, July, August.... etc and he told u,fake news... right again!)

You guys are the ones who have been wrong every time.

But here, watch the Chicago tribune over the next several days:

“A lawyer who represents two Sears creditors, David H. Wander of Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, said he expected ESL to modify its initial bid. "Until the gavel goes down, anyone can change a bid," he said. "My gut is, Eddie Lampert isn't going to give his best and final offer when he first makes his bid."

Lampert has his own backup plan if his going-concern bid is rejected. ESL says it wants to buy some of the remaining pieces, including selected real estate for $1.8 billion and Sears intellectual property, such as the brand name. Much of that plan would also be funded by forgiving some of the debt he holds.“

Okay windbag....You claim that you have been right every time.

Well windbag, where exactly is the news that you stated in your earlier reply would break TODAY regarding your claim that Eddie's bid has been accepted?

Source? I'll wait......

They are probably waiting to have news to share. Right now, the judge is reviewing the options to determine how Sears goes forward. Does it do so with the ESL offer? Does it do so with another bidder? Does it do so as part of an acquisition by a competitor like Walmart or Target?

Until the judge makes a decision, there is not much anyone can say.
