Lowes steals from us all the time. I just let the thieves skate. With all the tools in place to stop them, and corporate policy to let them go, why waste the time.

They actually don't give a sh-- if you get shot through your own actions because a shoplifter is provoked. They care a lot if a bystander gets shot though. Vicarious liability makes the corporation liable for your dumb--s actions.
This has little to do with why Lowes does not allow confrontation with shoplifters. This policy is older than dirt. I have worked for many retail outfits in the late 90s and early 00s. They all had this policy.
The reason for it is because if you touch a shoplifter they can (and have) sued the store for harassment. And if the shoplifter is a minority, it's even worse.
The real reason for this policy is strictly due to the Chosenite system we live in, which favors miscreants and criminals in order to create chaos & instability in western societies with the intent of total domination. They do the same thing in the middle east except over there they can use bombs and other deadly force deployed by corrupt western armies. They cannot do that in the West so they use the legal system instead, using corrupt judges, politicians and lawyers.

Yea, Lowes doesn't want you to get shot but making a bad stop and getting Lowes sued is what is always talked about.
