Correct. Performance and how long one was with Lowe's doesn't matter in the least. Lowe's dishonest corporate heads don't care about that. For years they filled us with BS about how important we are to the company, and just last year told us to our faces that our jobs were secure, and we found out how untrue that was on on Friday. Ironically, not long after our "appreciation dinner". Lowe's doesn't appreciate anybody. It's all BS.
Home Depot appears to have realized their mistake in eliminating LP. It looks like perhaps they are rebuilding their LP department. I intend to find out. If it pans out, Lowe's can take their severance pay and the non-competition clause and shove 'em. At the very least, I'll never set foot in another Lowe's for the rest of my life. There are plenty of alternatives.
