My manager threatened to fire me because I disobeyed him. I called him out on his 10,000 lies and he said he is personal friends with Eddie and said I will never work retail again. He also said this site is evil because it has caused him to lose control of the store and himself. I guess some people just aren't used to getting called out.

I feel your pain dude but corporate doesn't care. In fact they may give him an award. When Eddie came along he cultivated a culture a of hypocrisy, corruption and favoritism. They chose and groomed people like that on purpose. I know it sounds like a bad B movie but that's exactly what happened. And I guarantee you your managers excuse for being a sh--bag is that the sh--bag above him told him to.
I have tons of dirt on this mgr. Some of it is jaw dropping. Forget about his 10000 lies. he's done 10000 things he could get fired and sued over. Im quitting soon, then I will tell everything. I guarantee you they will investigate him because I actually have proof, audio and even some video., so they won't have much of choice. Im also going to make a call to corporate.
I would put the number closer to 20,000.
They will probably give that douche a bonus for helping destroy the store.

This reminds me of when I worked in HE in IT. I was getting gas and across from me the CIO was getting gas too. I was a low level programmer in IT. anyway we just said hi how ya doing to each other. When I mentioned this to one of the guys from India that I worked with, he said that a CIO in India would never be caught pumping his own gas - he would have a "boy" doing that for him.

A store manager is pretty low on the totem pole. Very doubtful that your manager personally knows Eddie. There are people who are much higher up in the food chain that have never seen him.
