Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Thomson Rueters stock at all time high

And they layoff to keep it that way. Thomson family still one of the richest in Canada. Strange that Reuters limited the reporting of the Thomson Reuters mass layoffs. Instead, Reuters was busy coverung an Apple supplier’s limited guidance (repeatedly with article after article) and driving down Apple stock prices down to the 180’s. Conflict of interest? Ask yourselves - who benefits financially from this “news”?

Around 300 in Wrexham (Refinitiv) and 425 in Rochester (TR) that's already 725. These rounds of layoffs will very easily reach thousands.

If it were any other major company laying off hundreds and hundreds of people (probably thousands in time) Reuters is likely to have been all over it.

Seems like other companies are fair game as long as it's not your own.
