I put in my notice since I got an offer at another company and my store was closing. I put in a full two weeks and when pay day came I didn't receive any of it. I am in an ongoing battle to get a hold of someone that can actually make this right but everyone so far in upper management continues to say there very sorry but theres nothing they can do and pass the problem off to someone else. My suggestion is if you are still working for the company is make sure you have your bills paid and get out there and beat the pavement to find a new job.

HR is not your friend. If nothing else works, get a lawyer. If you can't afford one, go to legal aid.

If you live in California contact the state labor board(Department of Industrial Relations). They will make sure you get your money and possibly more as penalty and interest is added. My sister-in-law ended up with twice as much money in her final paycheck because of this same situation. They can also without notice come in and audit your store's payroll records and that's when it gets ugly. Your SGM will be held accountable by both the state and the company. Go get what you worked hard for and earned. Don't let them push you around and take advantage of you.

They owe you money . It doesn't matter who didn't do what they should have. You owe them nothing. They owe you money. It's the law. F HR and your manager, get p-ss-d. Call the state.

Your store manager is supposed to put in a help ticket for a final pay request if that didnt happen then ya id be for blowing up HRs phone for sure!!

I've only met two people in my entire life who understand this simple fact.
HR is there for the company. Contact State Labor Authorities. Rat them to OSHA for something. They owe you money. Get mad.
If you worked the last two weeks they have to pay you by law. Contact your HR
Destroy something.
File a wage claim with your state dept of labor. Not paying employees for hours worked is very illegal, bankruptcy or not.
