Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Comical employees who pushed to get the extra week?

So they pushed on 11/10 to get Intel so they can make a decision. The problem, there is no Intel. Good luck with no extra knowledge.

VZW is 2/3's revenue. Do you really think VES/VCM will have equal control. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure that out.

I dunno. I listened in on a call with the lady from the movie "One Time At Band Camp..." She told us lots of information, just like Hans did. We heard about important pyramids and really really important stuff that we are going to focus on and look at, once it is time to focus-on and look at. But what it is that we will be selling and to whom, and who is going to actually do any of that telecom stuff below VP level? Well, of course, there is no information! That would just ruin the surprise, that there is no surprise.

All directors are worried, 2/3's of the new VP assignments will be VZW.

The whole goal was to make the company look leaner. They do not have a plan below levels announced. The are using the agile model so they are building it now. They sold off parts of IT and I expect they will make addional announcements once the window closes.

Company had 1 more week to share direction and intentionally elected not to. It’s nonsense because they know who the next levels of executives will be as they are already working on 2019 planning. Helped make the decision to remain clicked easier.
