So basically everyone should be fired. From reading this policy, it is not that you are not suppose to post about SHC, or say anything negative about SHC on here on any social media. It also says that you cannot cuss, talk about illegal d--gs, s-x, or any vendor that SHC does business with. Not that there are many left. So if I said that some product was horrible or posted that my whatever TV was a piece of junk on any social media, I would be in violation of their policy. Good luck in trying to enforce that.

Not a company shill just someone who knows how to find information that has been talked about in this forum recently.

Years ago, there was a legal inquiry as to whether or not this "Social Media Policy" actually silenced people's free speech. Here's a link to where I found the info: https://employerlawreport.lexblogplatformtwo.com/files/2013/09/Advice-memorandum.pdf

"A big executive saw something he didn't like and threw a fit"....

Yeah, he probably does not like the fact that Sears is being criticized for wanting to pay millions of dollars of retention bonuses to executives that are driving the company into the ground.

Meanwhile, front line workers in the stores who interact directly with customers are losing their jobs as stores close while these highly paid company executives keep getting these bonuses even after the company filed for bankruptcy.

Yeah, the front line workers at store level have a reason to be unhappy.

Eddie and all of his toadies can take their Social Media Policy and stick it where the sun doesn't shine! Of course, that would have to be after they pull their heads out of there first.

It is a joke and that's hilarious. They should value the honest employee feedback they're finally getting here instead of the useless sycophantic flattery they always got on Pebble.

I know some will think this is a joke but they recently did a big investigation at our store to find out who was posting here. A big executive saw something he didn't like and threw a fit. Another reason this company is failing. Instead of fixing problems let's cover the truth up and continue the corruption.
