New Hearne yard & Flat switching

So with this Unified 2020 plan, they are wanting to get away from hump yards and switching cars that way. Unified 2020 is all about flat switching. With that said, the new Hearne yard is supposed to have two humps. So how is that going to fall in line with the Unified 2020 plan and flat switching?

Doing 5mph in Ft Worth is almost asking for a derail.

The track is SO bad in our facility the only sane speed is 5 mph. Poor poor track conditions.

The speed in UP yards is 10, not 5.

CSX has hump yards. Flat switching preferred for PSR due to the fact the average speed on CSX yard is 15 MPH and switchmen get off and on moving equipment.

You will see if the future. A massive amount of safety rules removed from our rule book.

You will see changes in the rules to allow speeds in the yard to increase from the current 5MPH.
