Thread regarding Sears layoffs

The sad truth

There was a time where Sears did pretty well on Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and it wasn't that long ago. For my specific store our last "good" Black Friday was in 2014 before CE began to get neglected and eventually phased out by corporate. Our store had a decent crowd that had waited outside before 6 PM and that was even with Target, Best Buy, Walmart, etc. nearby.

This year? Our parking lot was pathetic. Three cars out there when we unlocked the doors at 6 PM with two people waiting at the main entrance. Nobody was waiting at the other two entrances that we unlocked. The few cars in the back were all ours.

A good post by @Wh9OdRt-ada . It’s sad for us who remember better times to see how it’s going down this year.
