Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

I just had the news on here in New Mexico, and there was a commercial for Molina. Why are they still advertising if they are going to be gone at the end of December? Does anyone have any insight to share about this?

Folks just read Molina Healthcare News. Things are not going our way... more law suits. New Mexico loss. 2 days lefts on open enrollment.....

Molina isn’t in good shape. It will be sold or go bankrupt.

Expressing pride in what Molina was, and disappoint in what it has become isn’t wrong.

Saying it’s unwise or disloyal to remain there makes sense, considering the it’s current state and long running culture. People had pride in where they worked and it’s sad to see it falling apart. If you’re still at Molina, you are going to be seen as foolish and disloyal by some.

Think of this like tens of thousands of people getting divorced. It’s painful and expensive. There won’t be any winners here. It’s going to get hostile because it’s close to the heart and pocketbook.

Humor and a tough skin are important for everyone.

One thing is for sure about both Molina and Chevy in your comparison- and that is- they are both going down quickly!

Pathetic is all these b---s--- dire warnings. The car and card are examples not comparisons...big difference between the two. You stated "Do you really think people stating the company is going to be sold is the same as comparing consumer goods?" Stating warnings about the apparent sale is one thing, but doing so while belittling others is ridiculous.

They are saying that they dont feel the need to constantly warn and mock someone because of the choices they make such as...get ready...being negative towards someone bc they choose, CHOOSE to drive a Chevy (i.e. like CHOOSING to stay at Molina) even though you may hate Chevy or had problems with them. Much in the same way that ppl who were layed off come back and spout dire warnings while belittling others who choose to stay and may even like Molina (same way example person with Chevy may prefer or even like Chevy). They dont show up at your house daily warning you about how terrible your choice in car make is...f--- sakes your dense. They are not comparing healthplans to consumer goods. They used consumer goods as an example. I for one come here to see if there are any credible updates not deragatory posts towards those that choose to stay. Pathetic is telling ppl they are "drunk on kool-aid" or "in denial" bc they have a positive outlook. In the same light if one is so glad they left Molina...why you here then f---stick?

Bro, don’t forget, you have to still be an active employee as of 12/14/2018, to get that bonus. Let’s not count on those big dollars until we know we don’t get laid off before then!

I’m so glad I won’t work at the place. The reputation Molina had nearly stopped me from working there ten years ago. But, I worked there anyway. I met a lot of bright and hard working people. However, it looks like what is left there now is the dregs. Who posts or thinks things like that? I’m just shocked by some of what I read. That anyone ever hired these people is amazing and there’s NO WAY that is a friend or family member of a Molina. That is just an id--tic comment. Like that last commentor said here....why are you even coming to a lay off site if everything is so fan-fricking-tasting.

Clean up your act. Get a grip. If you want to stick around til the better end, have at it. By the end is near so you’re gonna keep hearing about it whether you like it or not. Pathetic.

Why are people so critical of posts about Molina being sold? Why is that so painful for you people to hear? This is a lay off site not a pep talk site.

I prefer to read it all. The positive. The negative. The funny. The realistic. The fantasy. It’s all legit. If you feel threatened by any of it, maybe it is striking a chord. If you think it’s so terrible to call out the reality, SO negative, why do you come to a website for layoffs?

While you’re here, Go check out some of the posts on other companies. It’s enlightening.

If JZ will make Molina better than ever and everyone will get their jobs back....including the Molinas and all the FOMs too...why are you reading posts on a lay-off site. You want the truth and you know it.

Why worry about changing peoples minds? If they want to look positively on the situation then they will. Posts about how they are "drunk on the Kool Aid" is not going to change their minds. I didnt read your post and think "Oh sh-- I have to go find a new job ASAP". If you have a credit card I dont like would it be cool if I knockednon your door everyday and gave dire warnings of what will jappen if you keep that card? How about your car?
