Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Black Friday for Sears has become a 'ghost town' as it tries to make it through to another holiday season

The inside of Sears at the Galleria White Plains mall on Black Friday looked mostly the same as it has for the past few years. Yellow tags highlighted doorbuster sales. Rows of washers and dryers stood gleaming. Sparkling Christmas ornaments were on display.

But the glaring omission at 7:00 a.m., an hour after opening, were the shoppers.

The web order processing people in the back were busier than the cashiers in the front, at least.

online sales are way up and Walmart has a first rate online business. Sears does not have a good online business.

The theme of the news today is that black friday isn't what it once was. Yes, Sears s---s but it's not just them. This article is kinda BS. The wal-mart lot wasn't even that busy today.
