I’ve read in numerous posts that contractors will be eliminated on December 21. Is this true or a rumor? It’s hard to be motivated knowing you’re about to be shown the door (and right before Christmas). Scary!

Yes. What’s the problem? You knew the risks when you took a contract role, right?
Not that security of tenure is much greater when you are blue-badge these days.
There might be a few issues with ‘eliminating’ contractors though. 😉
I have been told that all contractors will given notice in the required time need to have them gone by the 21st. Just a manager with 8 contractors, so maybe likely...
