Maybe Verizon should repost the VSP for 30 days. I’m sure they would get more to click.

@2tbo I completely agree with you, and in reality, at this stage it isn't possible for anybody -- I repeat anybody -- to know what the percentage of takers is. Nobody. Period. There's another post on this board that asks for posters to provide specific count of number of people in their group, and number who took it. That's about as near to a realistic guestimate as is possible at this time. I've been reading this board daily for several weeks now and have come to the conclusion that most people who post as though they have some facts, actually have no more clue than the rest of us. Rumors, Heresay. That's all we've got to work with right now, so I'm just taking it all with a grain of salt. A big one. And when the "big day" of 12/10 comes, all I care about is an email that says I'll get my incentive to depart money and the date they want me to walk out the door. I seriously doubt we will ever know how many or what percentage did or didn't take it. And at that point, I'm not sure I'll actually care.
Don't know where 40 to 50% numbers are coming from. In my area, it is less than 10%.
In many departments, there is already concern about staffing and work due to too many people accepting the offer. They certainly won't extend it again for more. Their goals were 10-15 percent accept it. They got almost 40 to 50 percent in some departments.
Hell no! They don't need to offer this to anyone else. Give it to those of us who desperately want to leave this company. Those of us who want to leave are tired of getting dragged through the mud by Verizon management that don't know anything about what it takes to run this company from the field. Give me my money before you offer it to anyone else!
They had too many takers. Managers are already posting opening and asking others if interested in moving around.
I think they've already d--g it out too long.
