22 years and clicked the button. Already had a business with a partner on the side that I will look to expand full time. Thank you VZ for teaching me about margins, marketing, general finance, and the thousands of Excel spreadsheets I crunched over the years! It has come in handy. Best to all.

I'm out. No more work days for me, but I'm an old guy. Best of luck for you that's going on to different things.

I didn't click but looking elsewhere. Shady leadership, people passing off other peoples ideas as theirs, and the damn commute. The time off for this past holiday was great. Haven't had a full week of vacation ever in years without. A half day off to take care of basic appointments come with grief and BS questions about who the heck is going to cover for me. Been told for the entire past year to go find another job...may get RIFd. Tired of being stressed so forget it.

I'm tired. I've been with the company for 12 years, and I feel that I might be denied just for "short tenure". I'm hopeful, but really skeptical that I will be given the VSP. It'll hurt if I don't. I have plans either way and those plans include hopefully a move closer to family and a more interesting career that I never got opportunity to pursue while at Verizon.

Distressing after 30+ years of constant stress. Have come to realization that health and family mite important than a few extra $ in my pocket. Company is not the same when I 1st started, no loyalty, 0 appreciation, little support from your boss, and managers in positions they have no business being in.

What are you doing OP to live your best life? My best life used to include working at Verizon but as everyone on this site knows those days are over.

Yes and Yes. 37 yrs in telecom 26 at Vz (fMCI) is enough. Tried of the constant riffs, do more with less, flex hours and on call . It's been a great career but I'm ready to slow down a bit. The VSP made it possible about 4 yrs sooner than I planed.

Hoping for the best. I wish I was 100% confident I’d get the VSP. But I’m making plans either way. I have a future and this is the push I needed to get on with it. I’ll admit that waiting on the VSP is agonizing.

Still wondering if I made the right decision by clicking. Maybe some consulting work. Will definitely miss the people I met at VZ during the last 30 years.

Rest and decompress for a bit. Then who knows. Maybe full retirement, maybe something part time to keep me busy. Nice to have options.
