yes they do 100% when I left that hell hole and moved to my new job the director gets all of them and are discussed in our meetings.
Some reviews on Glassdoor are probably from two ceos ago.
The fun thing on Glassdoor is I learn more about what happens in Verizon there then anywhere else.
Like ttn explained below me. You can clearly tell which reviews are authentic, and which are fabricated. I used to love the reviews on that site, but Verizon has even found a way to manipulate that as well. The site claims it cannot be abused. However, I feel its pretty obvious not all those reviews were written by EX employees.
Glassdoor reviews for Verizon Are a joke. Some are on point, but most are likely to come from Verizon HR. I wouldn’t trust most of these reviews.
Well some how 49% of our employees approve of our id--t CEO
Lol there's a "thing" called glass door?
Wrong, HR and Marketing read Glassdoor and they use it to manage the candidate pipeline. Pay attention to HR responses which are partially crafted by the marketing group. The HR has a process for summarizing scores and reporting up.
The executives have peons and grunts who spend time on this site and provide weekly summary to them.
They also monitor chatter on all social media sites, there is a service they subscribe to (maybe someone can share the link here)
