that was a pointless article. also, the author might have been talking about the oracle cloud based talent management system (which they bought) but that has absolutely no relation to what oracle does with talent management internally. some of it does ring true though, you are in charge of your career development and no one else cares - take the training you can get, build whatever network you can build, apply for internal jobs and you might eventually find one that is a real posting.
Clearly to focus at oracle is on producing fake news rather that good products. More cloud fraud in other words. That’s the 3 stooges for you, they’re sticking with what they do best, namely bamboozle.
I think the author has no darn clue as to how managers are hired or moved into Oracle. Nepotism is key and this article is baloney
