Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

What's the point?

The event on November 10th was much more of a success than Black Friday. We only had thirty five people in line at 7am compared to 135 on event day.

Our club had pretty much the same experience. I'm starting to wonder if Black Friday should even be a thing at Sam's. With such low numbers, what's the point?

Our club as well had more people for the one day event. Black Friday was a typical Friday for us

The difference is that some of us have to come in at 3 am to prep the place to open at 5. Just open at 7 like normal. It's not like they have amazing sales anyway. I just read an article last night saying how Sam's is not the place to go for deals.

We're open anyway, what difference does it make?

We open too late for Black Friday, if they were smart they'd make the employees work on Thursday evening and start there event along side Walmart.

I think it's time that in Black Friday it's a waste of time
