Given the low expectation of Q2 performance, how big do we think that the X-mas m---acre is going to be? Give me your guess

Fearless prediction: Same as every quarter: RIFs for high cost, tenured resources; accelerated hiring of junior resources in hubs.
I suspect there won't be layoffs immediately before christmas. I would guess that next layoffs will come early in January. It seems like they come either at the end or beginning of a quarter and they don't like to layoff before holidays because if there is a lawsuit, it makes them look bad. It will be later sometime. But, if the Q2 results are bad, there will very likely be some layoffs. Just enough sprinkled through different groups to keep under the WARN notice.
What ever, 25+ years of constant layoffs makes a person numb to the threats and speculation. Who farted, was that you Jevies.
I'm predicting it will be much like anything else on this site. a non-event. FUD, as someone put it. useless speculation. speculating on performance is just that. anyone with any actual knowledge would not be stupid enough to say anything publicly - good or bad. so here's my guess. performance will be on pace with expectations of management and just below analysts expectations. there will be no massive restructuring. attrition will continue. hiring will continue. firing will continue. oracle will continue to service its customer base and win and lose customers.
Has the word a-- which will be blocked so I will spell phonetically: ay ess ess
Not addressing your question (since I have no idea), but on a side note, is the word m-a---a-c-r-e flagged by this site and blocked from showing its full display? That’s weird.
