Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

GM layoffs reflect domestic irresponsibilty

It is no secret GM manufactures quality vehicles far superior to both Ford and Chrysler. Many Americans are simply confused into buying poorly engineered and manufactured vehicles whether Domestic or Foreign. GM continues to be a pioneer in vehicle development having completed its fuel cell research years ago, and, continues to advance it's electric (again pioneer) and autonomous vehicles (Honda is seeking venture).

Being an expertly guided company GM is scaling back to protect its futures while eyeing weak domestic sales forecasts, in part, due to the rising cost of manufacturing (a la China tariffs). Our market drives the innovation of top vehicles (caveat venditor) leaving GM with no choice but to "hang in the valence".

Let me stop you right there. This isn't April fools, and I have two competitor vehicles that I purchased cash in hand, that say otherwise. I will never purchase GM, solely for the way this company treats it's employees.

The only thing GM has accomplished, is it's Denali line, where it places $1500 in goods, and marks it up to $15000 on it's sticker. Spoken by an executive within the company, whether he was to tell us this or not, it's his mistake. Sounds to me, someone is getting hosed in what they purchase.

Oops.

As a proud owner of 2014 Camry I can confirm this to be 1000% true:

Toyota what a crock of horse sh*t.

(In rerendum) ...it would not suffice to say that we have already &bitten into a large underlayment of the domestic automotivre market … let the interim lie in the 'not so' future past of GM heritGE
