Most atheists that I know are such angry little elves. I don’t know why they can’t seem to practice what they spew and just let people be who they are. Namely Christians, they are not hurting you in any way. Yes, I know they can be “preachy”, but what exactly do you call the belittling that I see regularly of people that don’t bother anyone and have faith in God. If they are wrong, guess what, they don’t have anything to lose. If they are right, they have everything to gain. I am sorry to the pessimist people that like to troll and berate people for their beliefs, if you are happy with your life and with yourself, then why don’t you try on some compassion for size. There are countless millions of people that have, their souls set aside, been saved just by merely finding something positive to believe in and hold onto. Why is it wrong for them to hold their faith dear to them, when you hold your hatred so dear to you?

So there’s no proof that a building is being built or paint being put on walls because I did t see it happen? I have to have faith that this took place in order for there to be proof that it happened? That’s a terrible argument! You’re saying that something made with materials and is physically present must rely on faith to prove that it existed? Try again. The argument is that there is no proof that a higher power of any kind exists, not if a f---ing building has been built. We have proof of Neanderthals and dinosaurs because we have physical evidence, bones, frozen corpses etc... There is no proof in any religion because it is all based on faith. There are no religious artifacts that prove there is a higher power, only man made objects, of which, there are more artifacts for other religions than Christianity. Anyway, no sense in arguing, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is real, because I have faith that it created the universe. Your arguments against this are invalid, because you have no proof to disprove my religion.

There’s as much proof for Jesus/God as there is for Scientologist a and what they believe. Some person wrote a book, and people follow it because it makes them feel safe and protected from the real world. No point in arguing with people on this, as you have no evidence to prove your points, only belief, which doesn’t not equate to facts or evidence.

I need to interject here - thank you Jesus for answering my prayers in abundance and granting me a better job than the one I had at UP. Now I'm only working 40 hours a week, getting paid more, learning new skills, and have better health insurance. Better yet, my managers let me work from home in another state to take care of my sick parents. I no longer get the big bonuses or stock awards, but who cares? I'm happy and healthy and thank God! I understand, though, that one can get jaded working amongst some of the people at UP. Just don't stoop to their level - God has better things in store for you. Bet on it!
And..I would add. If these layoffs Grieve His people....then Yes HE DOES care about it. I know for certain he cares about Greed and overindulgence in This World.
