I'm a "former" receiving team lead and I have decided to stay and be a backroom associate. Since this new position is also a level 7 or level C as they are now changing/calling it, will I still be considered a supervisor and will I still have override numbers when they officially change my job code ? and if i'm not considered a supervisor anymore will I have to turn in my support keys ? CM has not given any guidance probably cause he doesn't know and assistants are clueless as well.

So, do the backroom people, not get keys ? How do they open the dock doors all day ? Or claims ..... sounds kind of crazy . If they are the same level as a teamlead .... why not let them have keys, whats the big deal ? Power trip for sure
We only had 3 keys on our keyring- one for the dock doors, one for the trucker’s lounge & one for claims. My team lead was able to open the compactor for Claims, Maintenance & whomever else needed it. We were told, after the change takes place, we will not be allowed to open the compactor any more to do our own throws. The new lead over the Backroom Associates is the Grocery Team Lead. They are supposed to help out when things get busy.
Maybe you can talk to our receiving lead I don't think they know what a register is or where the front end is.
Register overrides are based on your job code. There's a chance your PTC/CM can give you the rights on SMART but that's up to them.
You carry keys but all other option are gone.
You will no longer be a supervisor just a backroom associate
