Thread regarding CVS layoffs

What will training look like in 2019?

With all the “changes” swirling around the Aetna merger does anyone know if FCT positions will be affected?

Some areas have looked at doing satellite trainings. So they will have a trainer able to do classes remotely for multiple locations/states. And they didn't always have the fct position, no one is totally safe. But that being said, I dont think it is going anywhere soon. It will most definitely have to evolve though!

If these services are to be owned by cvs and not outsourced, there will be additional need for fct. More than just fs and Rx . And du we will always need techs

Most stores have 5 to 6 fs employees , that will drop to 4 counting the manager who will soon be redesigned, turn over will be high so really no reason for a field trainer. Nco will change and most of the new employees will have to be trained in the specific part of the health hub they work for in the new store concept

No one to train. No job.
