Macy’s needs to focus more on “Customer Service” and the “Customer’s Experience” rather than pushing their CREDIT CARD!

Instead of making a BIG freaking deal out of a colleague getting 8 credits in a day, how about a BIG freaking deal for the way they handled a difficult customer situation. All these contests in store that pit collegues against each other, why not some TEAM building thrown in there? Let’s make it about “US” and not all these “ME’S”!

We have a couple collegues In RTW areas that NEVER do recovery or clean out fitting rooms. They do nothing but ring up customers and opens credits. Mgmt LOVES them and nothing else is expected. What if everyone worked this way??? What happened to WORK ETHIC!!

And we wonder why brick and mortar stores are going out of business?? Why go and shop where there is no customer service when you can shop online in the comfort of your own home and not have to worry about a pushy sales person that only cares about one thing... opening a dang credit card!

Prestige? How can you have prestige when customers complain they can't use a coupon of last act merchandise that is $4? Keep buying Karen Scott wanting and expecting Rodeo Drive stores. Whatever when all of the brick and mortar stores start to go away you can complain to the over seas Amazon operator about your purchase.

I think we look like a discount store, absolutely. What a shame. Macy’s isn’t what they used to be, no prestige.

Was in a Macy’s store yesterday, and my wife said, “Hey, this looks like TJ Maxx, now?!” It was a backstage store within a store... that can’t be good.

I would love to see a robot ignore customers and lean on a counter and text on the phone.

What the poster is saying ,that the executives running this ship are decendents from the titanic. So it won’t belong till evacuations takes place. Shrinking stores a last ditch effort.

I'd love to see a robot clean out the fitting rooms and fold merchandise, put out new freight while twisting a customer's arm to open a credit card as it ring them up.
