The company announced that it has negotiated a supply agreement with the company Hi-Crush partners regarding the supply of frac sand. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it is known that Hi- crush will supply frac sand for Chesapeake's operations in the Marcellus shale in Pennsylvania and the Powder River Basin in Wyoming.
