If you were never a claims clerk, how are you handling the new added claims tasks? RTV’s, transfers, jewelry damages or transfers, liquidation, t-b-cco out of dates & rtv’s, internet returns, code 2 c-ap, negative on hands, UPC/NOF report, stupid miracle box, haz-waste materials/area, shipping vendor c-ap FedEx, requesting RA’s for Serta, HP, RosyBlue, Diamour, dealing with recalls making sure the credit is filed correctly & the merchandise taken off the floor, tire rtv’s & special orders past their 30 days, not to mention the daily damages from returns & the floor? Just because you can scan c-ap out does not mean that’s the whole job. Oh well. Home Office knows best. Or they are running this company in the ground. I might be a tad bitter. Sorry. I know it’s not the backroom ppls fault. They are gonna be so screwed after Christmas......

It will be very interesting to see the shrink/damage dollars next year, for sure !
When in doubt, throw it out.
And our claims associate did it all by herself without any help. God knows the receiving clerk would have never gotten up out of her chair to volunteer. You’re right. They’re totally gonna be screwed after she leaves. I hate to see her go but she deserves so much more than she never got at Club, Market or Regional level.
We are not as important as we think we are. If it saves a dollar they don't care. Just a win number to Walmart
Just wait, before too long you will need some type of degree. Why do you think they offer college programs for associates? They’re giving you an opportunity to get your degrees before the change happens.
Let's not pretend you need a master's degree to run claims please. Requirements are a high school diploma or GED.
When changes occur it's a little difficult at first but they always see through. Associates that want to move in these positions are eager and excited about the change because they feel trapped in their own position. It opens the minds of people.
Anyone can do anyone's job, maybe not as accurate and efficient but they can. When people feel threatened and do not want to except change is when some associates want to lash out.
