Not that we all didn’t know or at least feel that something like this was going to happen, but when these kinds of cuts are announced the least they can do is to give the people some inputs on who is going to be affected and a more precise timeline. Not to mention that this could have been announced earlier. This just shows the real nature of the corporate world and chow a company who once took pride in its values shrinks to a point where only numbers matter.
If it’s any consolation, I think that this will backfire on them. 12% is just a number, but with those people gone, they will be losing a much more significant percentage of quality work.
