It' will be a disaster at our club bc ptc does scheduale time off and a lot more. The managers always say if you need scheduale change or time off ask ptc . So who's job will it be now the manager what a joke they can't get anything done right . Ticking time bomb
I am a PTC and have been 4 times busier with the new Workday. It takes a lot of time getting someone scheduled for orientation since we have to scan in the job offer and then fill out a profile on the new associate. Then Workday seems to enter what they want and make lots of mistakes. It took me a month to get them to change a birthdate that they miskeyed & another associate they entered her middle name as her last name. Talked to them, chatted with them and it’s been over 2 weeks and her name is still wrong in the computer! Also they entered her as male instead of female!! I always print out the entered information that I have keyed and so far it’s been workdays fault — they are batting 100% on mistakes. I feel that the company is moving way too fast in these changes and are taking away from the importance of associates. Unfortunately we as PTC’s don’t matter to the higher ups in our company— they are going to kick us to the curb because they feel that we aren’t needed anymore. When it happens, I know there is life outside of retail & will be exploring that! I will miss being there for the managers & associates.
