Since the team managing it are all gone and some of our contracts with the website team will expire 12/31 and have not been renewed, I'd guess shopyourway.com will not see 2019 in its present form. Absolutely nobody will notice.

I built a second kitchen with all the free SYW points I got. Couple of hotplates, Fryer, Toaster oven, a few pots and pans, panini grill, coffee maker, all free. I have a mini kitchen in my game room thanks to SYW.
We're talking about 'dead' as in 'the whole site no longer exists', not just it becoming a worthless waste of time. Hasn't reached that point yet.
It's already dying/dead...usually they send out Weekly Freecash to those that subscribe to emails and participate in the contests...today, nothing for anybody. RIP strange program that gave away tons and tons of merchandise over the years to me with next to nothing out of pocket.
Sooner or later the whole thing will die, @1ykr. If you value ongoing access to communication with these friends, exchange non-SYW contact information now while you still can, and save it offline for when the inevitable day comes.
