Just Curious if it is worth keeping my sears card

The nearest Sears/Kmart to me is 1.5 hours away and I would never buy something online with nowhere close by to return it to, so is there a point to having it? I declined the Sears Mastercard offered as I already had a citicard mastercard. There is a hometown store nearby but I really don't trust any Sears store. So just curious if having a regular Sears card makes sense.

Keep it... If you like it, it's yours

In a hundred years it may be an antiquity or a deteriorated plastic lump

I hate it when people ask questions they already know the answer to. You just stated you don’t trust sears home town and you won’t shop online and there are no full line stores or kmarts bear by, so why would you Keep it? Think about the question in your head and you should be able to come to an answer. Don’t do what children do when they ask a question just to fill space. I’ll tell you want I tell my son, don’t ask questions just to hear your self talk.

It is worth keeping as a dormant card, only from the aspect that closing it will reduce the amount of available credit you have, and potentially lower your credit score. If you Sears card has a high limit (if unused), and you don't have other cards, then it will hurt you. Otherwise, if you have high limits with other cards, you can close it and have no or negligible effects.
