Is it true? When? And how do they expect us to actually run a club with fewer hours when we are stretched thin as it is?

Stop b--ching, skip your breaks and after you punch out for lunch go back to work for 30 minutes and go punch back in. Thats the way we do it at my club. Either that or get coached for not finishing on time. You gain another hour to get your job finished. We dont even want to talk about what we have to do when someone calls out sick.
At the club I work, we had unlimited OT. Smh
I agree that it is for the purpose of torture. Cut your hours and then you will beg to do whatever they want. It is indeed psychological torture. At the moment on nights we are scheduled for 40 and some even get a bit of over time from time to time. But it is because we have so few people and are running to patch holes and not actually being able to stock they way they want. Then they turn around and accuse us of not doing the work right. They are the reason the beating a dead horse saying even exists.
From there viewpoint a 32 hour guarantee gives them maximum flexibility to schedule you for 32 and still have you begging for the extra hours if they need you to work them. If your already scheduled 40 then they cant call you in when the newbies all call out because they dont want to come in the day after there birthday or whatever.
It sadness me how these other clubs are ran. Full time should be 40 hours. If they dont deserve 40 or the club cant afford 40, then they shouldn't be full time. This sh-- is simple guys.

We was told full time is 32 hours some schedules have reflected this but not everyone. Would not surprise me if they eventually brought everyone's hours down.
We have not had full 40 hour since September. At most 38. But as low as 35. Only way you get more hour is if you pick up missing shifts in clothing or carts
