I don't have any idea what numbers they were looking for, but 10400 out of 152k is less than 7%. I think that they could have easily dropped 10% with involuntary rif. I think that the people that are left behind should be looking out for the other shoe to drop.

Keep in mind, there are tens of thousands of employees in India and they ain't getting no boot.
I do not have exact numbers but if we assume we have 25K folks there (I'd bet it's more than that) we are talking:
8.19% = 10400/127000
If you assume that we have 52K non US resources (again, I have no exact numbers), than we are talking:
10.4% = 10400/100000
