Not everyone is in sales.
Severance package??? They are trying to cut cost and you expect them to dole out millions to get rid of folks when they don't have to? Nonsense it will be so much for so many years worked , two weeks notice and bye bye... Dell doesn't care about you wake up. If you think they treat folks well then you must not be in sales.
MD is playing with his money and shareholders. He can do whatever the f he wants for profit while keeping our livelihoods on the line because he can, like any owner of any company. And so far we have been decently treated by the company and himself. Be greatful he is not Indian (i am sorry my Indian brothers but Indian bosses is just horrible so far) or someone with a third world mentality. If it is not MD, perhaps US is a graveyard now and India is the HQ of Dell
So, when is the week then????
Not the week for it... Probably the warlords will be there to set the pace.
Just got an invite to an AllHands on Jan 23'rd. Wonder if that is the week for the layoff.
@WzmVlwj-6ypl That's what I have heard as well. After going public there is going to be a lot more pressure to get our debt load paid down and improve the bottom line. There is only 2 ways it can be accelerated: 1) Increase Revenue or 2) make big cuts. So this is no real surprise.
I remember reading:
It's Awesome To Be Private.
- MICHAEL DELL
Looks like it is not so awesome after all, especially when you have massive debt.
Hmmm I got this info: the axe is swinging. Several managers are reporting changes in mid January...
| Post ID: @WzmVlwj- You must be inbred Dell Legacy. No money. Do you even know how to read the financial.
There is no damage! Don't be apocalyptic and trust in a good severance package offer coming to good guys.
