It's not just in Houston. There will always be those people that want the pay and benefits of a full time job without spending the necessary time AT WORK. They compromise themselves and others by being SO focused on minimal time at work. Hauling Asss and breaking rules will/does get people hurt and gets them discipline when they F up.

Gone are the days of slacking off....sorry to say. You are being monitored more than you think. I wouldn't want to get fired for delay of trains which is the new thing with PSR.

These guys come to work and break rules, and haul a-- trying to get everything done so they can get off work early. They don’t get that management is tracking this and soon instead of three shifts there’ll only be two. Then the guys that work by the rules and aren’t jumping through their asses to get off two hours early are looked at like they’re dragging their feet.

Running for Quits is an id--t move. As stated...anyone doing this is only adding to their own demise and playing right into the companies hands. Take the necessary time to do the job right...follow the rules and don't worry about tying up early. If you have to work late, s--- it up and work late.
