Information Technology layoffs said to start today. Complete lack of leadership, to reform and change to suit new challenges. Just issue pink slips, move jobs to low cost geographies and hope for the best.

Finland team is still around? Wasteful for Intel. They don't deliver. As for Drone? Should have shut it down when BK got fired. Why did Intel take this long to shut this Thing down?

Why is this even an issue? actually productive employees (and managers) will have no trouble finding a new job. Intel (with the exception of Intel Labs) is by far not the best paying nor most interesting employer at the moment.

In Lakefield the only differentiator and vue add is the Image processor
But camera finalnd is the core team... And great people to work with but Intel does not know to leverage the power was ... So they are closing Finland or only a few people are being let go ?
Drones, sports, etc. help by distracting the investors from real Intel problems. Actual revenue is nonexistent.
