2019 One team one dream rally meeting

I've heard that the purpose for the meeting is too let us know about Kroger going CAO. Everything will stay status quo!! Think again. DSD will be ending!!

The purpose was to blow smoke up our A$$es!!! GS SC and BM giving everyone false hope!! Nice how they waited to the end to mention about CAO starting at Kroger in April!! All I can say is believe what you want. No way we stay in DSD much longer. Everything on this site has become to be true. They have have missed the timeline but I can guarantee you that we are definitely in our last year of DSD

A lot of people better wake up, and soon! Zero chance with Kroger going CAO in April and WM already CAO we won’t see dad end VERY soon! Every single red flag is being waved in our faces and yet...people still believe things are not changing. May want to quit listening to management and start advocating for yourself. It’s gonna be a painful lesson for some!

GS is full of it!!! More like 3 to 5 months. By the end of the year we are flipping our sections around to give family size more space and less on the core item's. That's why you're seeing new flavors of family size coming out. That way they can eliminate SKU's!! You better wake up!! GAME OVER!!!

Keep believing, that’s why they had the rally meetings! You think really retailers are going to pay for dsd for a few years when they have invested in a system that can do it for them and cut costs? Better have a good back up plan if you rely on your paycheck from Mondelez!! It’s coming sooner than many expect!

GS said at our meeting yesterday we will not be writing orders anymore in 3 to 5 yrs as CAO would be handling that. I still think it’s going to be a few more years til something happens with our jobs.

It’s so upsetting to know that management is going to the great lengths they are going to, to decieve people into believing everything is ok.

They can say we are valuable, that’s really nice to hear! Problem with that is, they don’t pay FOR us, retailers do. Mondelez PAYS us, but retailers pay FOR us. They pay for us through an increase in the price of their product. Retailers simply cannot afford this service anymore. As a result, RETAILERS are now investing money in CAO. That’s their baby.

If you honestly believe CAO will allow you more time to sell, I got a bridge I’d like to sell you!

Expect to see a round of cuts possibly after Q1 or Q2. DSD will not be around after 2019. Who cares what they tell you at the rally meetings, that’s all BS!! The retailers are driving this decision!! That is a fact!

We had our meeting today. Kroger CAO starts for us in April. Everything was pretty positive though. They act like DSD isn't going away. I tried to read between the lines. Sounds to me that we will be here till 2020. We're just their guinea pigs. Once the CAO gets up and running we'll be done. Good luck everyone.

Ours is tomorrow. The itinerary they sent out doesn't mention anything about CAO for Kroger. Guess we'll find out tomorrow. Stay tuned

Ours is in a couple of weeks. I'm sure they'll say how everything is great!! More smoke screens! For them to have these meetings I would say that we'll be here till next year for sure. 2020 is when Walmarts contract is up I've heard. Alot of other vendors will be gone in Walmart in 2020 also

Kinda of excited for the rally meeting, watching RVP and RDR feed everyone some bull$hit! Anyone who cannot read between the lines....well feel kinda sorry for them. Last year it was to tell us WM was going CAO, and this after Keebler left. Now Kroger going CAO and building $60 million distribution plant in Hebron. Bring your pom

Poms and live with your head in the sand, your choice. Losing full time people and replacing with part timers. Every single indicator points to DSD exit!

Yep, people have guessed about the exit date a bit prematurely. If you don’t see the subtle signs pointing to a dsd exit, may want to get a refund on your glasses, they don’t work!!!

Now another rally meeting to try to calm people’s fear! Rah rah!

Sounds like Jyve will partner up with servu to take care of Nabisco. Game over!!

I’ve gone through the application, orientation process with Jyve. They don’t pay per hour, they pay per job. You are an independent contractor. Pretty cool process! Most definitely the way retail is heading! Imagine the savings when you are not paying vacation, health care, mileage, etc! Serve u will manage Jyve to handle the merchandising at Meijer. So now Meijer, Wal Mart, and Kroger are all gearing up for change. Still some are convinced nothing is happening! Hahahahaha

Servu guy told me that they will be using Jyve. Jyve has to work 40 cases an hour. Servu employee has to load it on a cart then the Jyve worker works it. The Jyve worker is not responsible to put away back stock or throw cardboard and plastic away. Servu will clean up

A very lengthy email was just shared with me by serve u rep. Meijer is gearing up in 2019 to tackle another dsd company’s exit! Very detailed as to how this new merchandising will be handled. Humm🤔. Jive, the Uber company of merchandising will be utilized. Been testing Jive in stores and was told that actually some nabisco projects have showed up.

Time for a rally meeting😊. Hahahahaha

I feel badly for the author of the post “we’ve been CAO at WM and nothing has changed, dsd is not ending”. They are in total denial! It will take the announcement to make some people realize that dsd is no longer a profitable avenue for retailers! It will also help Mondelez become more profitable. DSD is ending, retail experts have been saying this for years and Kroger has had the elimination of dsd as a part of their forecast for over 5 years! Takes time to exit so Mondelez will continue to do what is necessary to create a smokescreen. They don’t want a mass exodus as they are committed to DSD until we are no longer DSD. Look for yet another rally to work to convince employees all is status quo. They will even go so far as to say “we are committed to dsd”. Easy to say since they are not calling the shots. Ask questions, direct questions if you are concerned and see what you get. Nervous people who cannot follow the scripted answer when you make them. The truth will bite you in the a$$ if you are looking for it. Seems to me a lot of people prefer not to know! Eventually everyone will be told!! Stay tuned!

Sure they're going to pay reps to tweak CAO orders at 2 of their biggest accounts!! Dream on!!! DSD is ending!! When I'm not sure. Only upper management knows. I would say soon. Next 6 months to a year I would say.

We have been CAO at Walmart for 7 months or so and nothing has changed at all. We still up sell and tweak the order. Nothing will change at Krogers either. DSD not ending anytime soon.
