Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Xerox Channel leader leaves the company

The departure of the Xerox Channel chief was explained by the called-off merger with Fujifilm and the ongoing restructure within the company. What can the workers expect? Is there a possibility that this spills over on lower levels, resulting in more layoffs>

Direct sales was the powerhouse in this company, until the cucks had to raid the cookie jar. So sad. Greed is such a sin. The final judgement awaits us all.

It appears the new direction is to send everything they can through the Channel and offload any Direct accounts to GIS/XBS for the "local" advantage. Direct sales as we've always known it will continue to shrink.

So let me get this straight, the Direct Sales channel gets gutted...accounts go to GIS and Agents over a long period of time. Throughout this process Xerox touts building strong third party channel partners with convention after convention...speech after speech...invests in channel support and will pretty much sign up anyone willing to sell a Xerox device.

Now after thousands of Direct sales and support people are gone as well as many group sales stars, the company is gutting channel support in the US and Europe and consolidating All sales that are Xerox GIS employees?

If that’s the case, they just offloaded talent for a buck. IMO, What a spiraling joke of a company!

Guaranteed he didn't leave of his own free will. He was brought in just under 2 years ago to revitalize the channel. Guess what? He didn't do it. This is such a typical Xerox move, never letting anyone complete their job and stay the course, or they brought him in to be the fall guy. Inept management continues. Thankfully they kept the other schmoes who continue to drive that company into the ground. It's just a matter of time.
