The "if you can't beat em, copy em" motto in play by Marvin and Joe, paired with the soft spoken podcast words and sealed with a "God Bless" now by BOTH of them (referring to that special broadcast by Joe on Monday when he finally ended with it as well) paired with the new "combat" lingo doesn't have you at least paying close attention to what we are becoming then I don't know what will. Were even going to have patches to wear for employee recognition and tenure, just like Home Depot. We can copy all we want, it will spike a change temporarily and give some hope but thats about it. AND this winning the Pro focus...humm, well there isn't enough characters allowed in this forum to express my opinion on that. Our direction as a company has become deluded over the years and Niblock certainly did his fair share of damage, but using some old playbook from a competitor wont get us there. It's a little late in the game.

Home Depot has already won. Apply there. Lowes has been and will always be Home Depots biatch.
Instead of the obligatory "God Bless", Marvin should end his correspondence with " May God have mercy on your souls." Seems more a fit for what this guy is all about.
I agree with the copying.. But I fully support this CEO first the time being.. I mean seriously.. lowes hasn't even got past genesis. So we need to let go of all the 2010+ models and let's get this 1985 models up to par.. then we can start tackling all these other programs and stores in other countrys. If our youth can hack into the Pentagon, but can't operate a sale from start to finish then somethings wrong.. so lets get rid of all the unnecessary bs and we will finally succeed.. one thing that will make more sales is more associates.. Tgis is why businesses like ace hardware are still around. You can not expect a flooring associate cover appliances and cabinets. You can expect appliances to cover plumbing and electrical. It does not work. You as a customer, where would you shop, the place that has someone to help you or the place you have to wait for someone that knows nothing about the questions you are asking them. Get this company staffed. Get 1 computer program that works. And I promise, HD will have to start copying us.
