@sxr-- The problem with Whole Foods taking the old Sears/Kmart properties is that any properties left are in bad neighborhoods or econmomically depressed areas or rural areas or the stores are falling apart. Many of the remaining vacant stores are in areas that cannot afford or support a Whole Foods. Any properties left will be redeveloped into apartments/condos or sold to another real estate developer or just abandoned until Seritage gets the tax breaks they want.
There actually was an article showing how Whole Foods was interested in vacant locations, so OP may not be totally off based. Just that Amazon would be more interested in the remains and not the company operations.
This is the stupidest thing I've read all day. (The day is young, but still..)
There's also a petition demanding a doll manufacturer begin manufacturing dolls with missing limbs, hands, feet, etc... because a little girl, who is missing a hand, had her feelings hurt because her doll has 2 hands. LOL
Other than the $70 billion affair, do you really think Jeff is that stupid?
Too late. If he had any interest, he had to file in advance and get his bid qualified before the deadline like 'everyone' else. Not a whole lot of 'everyones' were interested. The silence was deafening.
Yeah that'll work.
