Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Weren't all those lawsuits unsuccsessful? I believe they were all based on discrimination. Desai has been smarter about that this time by hiring Americans in key management positions.

Most companies have already outsourced this and the trend continues to be of outsourcing. Bottom line members suffer and I thought that was what made Molina so special - not anymore

I’m glad this article was written and employees have actually seen this. I am certain management has glossed over everything as usual and have kept quiet. There is already a concrete plan in place with the number of people being let go and what departments are being outsourced! Transparency is important and this article provided just that. If I was still working at Molina I would certainly be sending my resume out ASAP.

I see!! Here is a department that makes money for Molina, provides effective, evidence based application of guidelines and work tirelessly to meet required timelines. For a reward, furlough, sense of loss at hours spent away from family for greater good of the Corporation and abandonment. If this is leadership at its best, I fear for the company and for those who remain behind. Does project red stand for red blood spilled?

Agree. Thank you and keep me posting. We had townhall Thursday and all just great ( money, growth, etc.) Thing is when you are actually doing the work you don't see it. You don't see the work coming in. You don't see Molina competing with our top competitors. What we do hear from our members are how unhappy they are . They are calling us every day!!!!

Pink Snitch thank you for your transparency because there is none coming from leadership. We are hearing vague terms such as transformation and restructuring from our Leadership communications but no details other than Molina is doing great. If Molina is on the upswing why are we continuing to outsource and layoff. Why did our CMO resign in the fall of 2018. Why are leaders who were ineffective and let go being rehired. What is happening to high cost programs such as transplant, NICU, Pharmacy. Molina has been in a state of upheaval since May, 2017. Employment engagement is low. What is the long term plan. We need transparency and stability.
