The American operation is in complete disarray with no realistic path to correction. American leadership is disrespected for good reason. The American operation will continue to shrink as Canon, HP, Ricoh and KM run circles around xerox products, marketing, sales coverage and service. They are so far behind in all these areas that it would be difficult with the best of leadership. It will be impossible with this team. The only way they can make profit numbers is to continue the cutting and continue the layoffs.

Xerox going through it’s own “SHUTDOWN.”
Production and Graphic arts sales org is a hot mess. The best have already left the remaining are all looking to get out. When our numbers s--- at the end of q1 we’ll get laid off.

Building a tech powerhouse on DOCUSHARE??? It was even thrown out for in-house use years ago. The tech powerhouse stuff is just a facade. There’s really nothing to base that on. All that’s left is an aging iGen, ink jet that isn’t marketable, mfp’s from FujiXerox. Really that’s all there is. They’ve laid off anyone that could have developed anything internal. If PARC had ANYTHING that could be commercialized, wouldn’t we have heard about it by now??
There will be more layoffs, sooner not later. It’s the only way to keep profits up as the revenues shrink each quarter.
Let everyone sell The Xerox Product for a lower cost .... great idea ! The industry has been through this before and it didn’t work out so well. Watering down the brand and ruining the reputation. It’s sad.
