Management just realized duh as stupid as they are . No layoffs will happen until after the Auto Show. They need folks to make this a success. What a black eye that would make if it stunk. Well the State of the Union speech is coming and wouldn't that be great fodder for Trump to slam GM. Trade war will be lifted and once again we will need employees how sad.

I'm also in touch with my colleagues , I also lost my job before Christmas , they all want me back , but nothing can be done about it , I also am looking for a job. I was in the middle of two projects and my boss expected me to be at work on Monday , he had no idea I was let go. Contract employee.

Don't give more credit to this leadership than it deserves. There's much more time for it to continue to disappoint. GM has a lifetime of disappointment built into its history.

IT is always on call 24/7 for any consumer facing website issues.
Also the super bowl is coming up. They typically spend tons on money for ads and IT is on call 24/7 for this as nothing can go down on any consumer facing website.
