When is a mass layoff not a mass layoff?

When Marvin Ellison, in his ridiculous podcast, still clings to the inane idea that all this is simply a "re-organization".....that happened to result in thousands of jobs lost.

His most ridiculous claim? That 70-80% of those laid off will find new jobs within Lowe's. What? As part-time temps perhaps? I don't know who he's trying to fool. Himself maybe? Can he possibly be that out of touch? We out her in the field certainly aren't buying it.

Pound sand, Ellison.

Exactly. If a full time PSI coordinator or full time PSE coordinator want to stay in that position they need to switch to part time.

Even better there is no full time position available for a store that qualifies for both part time positions. Even better a store that has a PSE selling over two million a year is eligible for 2 part time coordinators but not a full time person. I guarantee you that will be days for one and evenings for the other.

This is all a way to cut hours, benefits, and full time positions across the board.

It’s deliberate and malicious.

Our PSI person was really good, they sold me than the PSE. They will have no trouble finding a good job. Store manager wants them to stay on and oversee their projects to completion. I don’t think they are.
