Store Management knows just as much as you do. They are not being told anything. They find out in the news like everyone else.
Who said corporate management is telling store management anything.
They do withhold information and most of them do not care about you. Never did. Not for years now.
This is industrywide though. Not only Sears.
They don’t know anything either.
What makes you think that management has cared at all these last 10 years.
Nobody is allowed to tell you what's happening to the company until it is decided in court. Both from being a publicly-traded company, and from now being tied up in court, there are strict limits on who can know what when.
Maybe management feels you’re smart enough to figure it out by yourself...
What do they have to gain by witholding information?
