Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Whyyyyyy?

Why would any judge allow for this charade to continue? It's like giving an elephant who came into a glass store and crushed everything a glue tube and asking it to put it back together. Yes, that's going to work out really, really well.

Now we can expect months, or even years more of this spectacle... Just whyyyyyyyyyy?

"do you think customers are going to come flocking In for the increasing selection of plastic totes while dodging roof leaks?"

The roof leaks are just a way to demonstrate the versatility of those totes - put some out to catch the drips! /s

Because Sears is iconic, and the judge, creditors and customers know it. Haters lose again! All you can do is thumb me down, because you were wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

And what pray tell is the "go forward" plan? Keep closing stores until everyone is still on the street? Sure as hell he's not going to invest a dime into the stores. Or do you think customers are going to come flocking In for the increasing selection of plastic totes while dodging roof leaks?

Because you are a contrarian id--t that hasn’t listened to a word anyone has said on the subject. The BK judge was ALWAYS going to favor keeping people at work and the lights on, this was known from the beginning. A BK judge wants to be a District or Circuit Court judge. Putting 45000+ out of work when there was go-forward option, no matter how serious, means that probably will not happen.
