Till it’s announced! Takes a while to dismantle a process that has been in place as long as dsd has been around. It’s not just Mondelez, other parties, such as retailers also need to be involved.

What would make you think the elves would know? If you are using them as a baseline for what happens at Mondelez you may want to rethink. Even our managers are being told “business as usual”. Of course we all know that simply isn’t true, dsd will end and it’s coming up.
Why would the two largest retailers in the country (and to the guy who doesn’t have a Kroger, big deal! Doesn’t change that) go CAO and make moves that indicate a move to warehouse? And why would Mondelez be making moves towards warehouse? Eliminating DSS roles isn’t a dsd friendly decision people!
DC can hide behind his “conference calls”! Bottom line is they are telling him what they want him to hear right now! If DC opened wanted to open his/her eyes it appears to be a very different story.

Cagny won’t definitively prove anything people. Dirk won’t announce the end of DSD at Cagny. What he and the CFO will elude to is “optimizing”. That’s the buzz word for big changes! When companies “optimize” it means reorganization! Jobs will be eliminated!
Everyone is cutting waste, it just Mondelez! Retailers are across the board! That’s why dsd is ending, way too easy for retailers to take this back and quit paying for a service they can do themselves.
Hey DC, who ultimately controls the decision of DSD? Retailers or Mondelez? Don’t retailers control this since they pay for it? Retailers, like Mondelez are also cutting waste to improve their bottom line....dsd could be considered one of these? Seems wasteful to build a $60 million warehouse and not fill it! Our distribution channel, unlike Frito, Pepsi or coke, is exactly like that of Keebler’s when they were dsd. They are paying us to order when CAO can do that, and merchandise when they can. Sounds like waste to me!
Just got off another call today. Looks like business as usual. Cagny will prove that tomorrow. Mondelez is committed to DSD. They are focusing on waste this year. No signs of any layoffs for DSD. They are investing in DSD. Buying new trailers and electronic equipment. If anything changes I'll let everyone know.

Because they aren’t leased and this isn’t Canada. Mondelez will move product from depots to customers warehouses and 3rd party suppliers.

I still dont understand why Mondelez would lease vehicles for warehouse delivery. In Canada 3PL carriers deliver from the RDC's to the customers warehouse.

Layoffs will start coming before April 2020. It will come in waves. Like previous posts say "we're too big" to exit all at once like Keebler did!

It is so painfully obvious the direction we are headed, it is so sad to know people still want to believe otherwise! Nobody wants to lose a job, but I’d rather know what’s coming than lose my job and all my pride along with it!! A whole lot of people are gonna feel kinda foolish before too long! Lift gates would normally be used for off hour front door delivery. It will be business as usual until it isn't. Nothing this company is doing is anywhere near sustainable.

Since phones, like cars, are all leased who cares? So many people grasping at straws. They will need merchandisers until the end, and we sure can’t keep them as of now. It’s pathetic how bad our turnover rate is. Management treats these people like id--ts, they are lied to all the time. Now they get new phones so they too can be tracked, I’m sure they are gonna love that!
