Walked out of UPC this am, after 20 years...all I feel is relief. Now I can watch from the sideline as UP goes downhill, I don’t want that but it’s happening. Will miss all my coworkers and wish those left behind the best of luck, they are gonna need it!!

Today I was walked out, pretty crazy to see the reaction of those who didn’t see it coming... just know that y’all aren’t as safe as you think! Good luck doing all that extra work. I have an interview tomorrow, good thing I learned how to bounce a long time ago! Good Luck to those that got cut - May your search for better be quick

Got walked out this morning and not nearly as sad or angry as I thought I’d be. Kind of a relief actually. People are already calling and asking for the resume.....
HR had some cuts today, also heard a VP (Lambeth) got the axe but they get a golden parachute when they get wacked.
IT being hit currently as well.

Hopefully they get rid of all the worthless cancerous people tied to shot callers through marriage in Eng, Finance and HR. I heard Eng is done but damn they still need to cut 6-8 bags of c-ap on 9.
I feel no shame! It is UPs loss, and some other employers gain.

The walk of shame. If UP really wanted to save money they could sell off a couple of the company jets and cut a few pilots.
Can confirm. Seeing people walk out with boxes, and what is clearly an out of uniform cop/RMCC/Secuirty guard pacing the lobby.
