Anyone else hear we are going to pre baked and pre iced cakes? Seems like if that’s true we will see some layoffs in bakery soon

Recent resets have severely shrunk down the space in front of bakery. I believe the items in 48 are being incorporated in to snacks and candy too. Saw it on amp for a few weeks from now
This would probably improve consistency in product and efficiency in labor, but the quality of the product could fall. I see it as an opportunity to improve upon the service levels of having full cake cases and less waits on busy weekends/holidays. Perhaps somebody was actually thinking properly about this change...
Going back to baking muffins so some decorators will be splitting time as bakers
Cakes already come in frozen. Why not have them come in frozen with icing on them too?
Graduation would be a lot smoother for sure! Have the members type something into a machine it auto generates the order and call it a day. Reduce overall frustration with Bakery in the clubs. If only it was true.
If only this is true! At least I wouldnt know who made the cake and who’s dirty hands touched it. Seems like they hire the dirtiest people to work in the fresh areas. Go out and smoke and think they don’t have to wash their hands, touch their face and not wash their hands, wear their aprons into the restroom or outside to smoke. 🙌🏻👏👏

Walmart only has pre-baked cakes. They stink!
