Our SM shared videos & pics of the Vegas meeting. I couldn’t believe the vulgar display of ego and money being blown! You have to see to believe. The SM’s get a brief taste of how the privileged live at corporate daily. So when you attend the store meeting whether it’s evening and you get the cardboard pizza. Or at 6am and you get the day old doughnuts with Pro Desk coffee. Remember that Marv and his cronies really appreciate your hard work to provide them with their opulent lifestyle. Hey, if you’re lucky, maybe you’ll get a quarter raise next month...

Remember Lowes' associates your High School educated masters see you as peasants. Those talented retail higher ups who do nothing but drink and butt smack each other on their phones all day "Is he in your market today?", "How'd you comp yesterday?" "Just hired very nice talented cashier!" All about their kingdom but they wear no cloths. Now go down stock Aisle 1!

Some of us are staying long enough to finish classes before moving on and quite frankly to do every little thing to be an irritant in the meantime. No one has to be grateful for Lowe's and they must think mighty highly of themselves to say so. The entire point of the carrot and the stick is lost when employees finally see there is no carrot and when the worst you can do is fire them (we make sure to keep up appearances so there's no reason for termination) well surprise there's no stick either. The greatest thing I've ever done is sit down and talk to a lawyer about how to best protect yourself in a toxic workplace. The #1 tip is simply to document EVERYTHING.... first just to help prove what's happened and second to establish a pattern.
It’s just like how our country is going. People jealous of others success. So sad. Maybe if you all worked harder vs complaining all the time you would get ahead to SM or above and build a better life for yourself. But no, instead complain and be jealous. That always works. Lol

They base this on what they say is the market pay for positions.
I found a new job doing similar work for about 20 percent more money, better and less expensive benefits, and better hours with a definite schedule. I’m sure the cost of Vegas meeting was Maxed in Position (69) too.
