when you do things on the cheap you can NEVER BE SUCCESSFUL!. Egads lays it out pretty thoroughly. You want to go from good to great.....ain't happening on the cheap. And to suggest that we are even a good company at the moment may be a bit of a stretch
This is it, right here. To become better, we need investments. Instead, Lowe's is focused on cost cutting to the exclusion of everything else. And we have already seen how well that works out for us.
Lowe’s isn’t cost cutting. At the managers meeting they announced stock grants for all ASM’s now and increased the SM bonus to 50% of their salary up from 25%. That is the company working to make sure the leaders are being taken care off. More the reason to try to get into a ASM / SM role.
Cost cutting ?? The company just announced a increase of 400M in capital spending for 2019. You all need to pay attention.
How about keeping a list of everyone who is a disgruntled employee like the people on this board. If we all worked a bit harder and stopped thinking we had all the answers maybe things get better. View is always great from the cheap seats !
So far the only thing Marvin has spent any money on is jobs for his friends.
